Our Partners Neema Magimba, Nalley Jummane, and Jeremiah Odinga attended the 7th Adams & Adams Africa Network Meeting, representing ECA in discussions about the future of IP practice in Africa and strengthening our pan-African network of IP professionals.
Purpose
To participate in strategic discussions about the African IP landscape, share experiences and best practices with network partners, and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration across the continent. The meeting aimed to strengthen the network's ability to serve clients with pan-African IP needs.
What the Team Learnt
Our partners gained insights into regional IP challenges and opportunities, learned about innovative approaches to IP practice in different African countries, and identified areas for potential collaboration. The meeting reinforced the value of strong professional networks in providing comprehensive IP services across multiple jurisdictions.

13th China Trademark Festival
The China Trademark Festival was held in Changsha, China this year. The theme was "One Belt One Road," focusing on international trademark cooperation and the development of IP protection along trade routes connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe.
International Trademark Association (INTA) 2023 Annual Meeting
Our Managing Partner attended the INTA 2023 Annual Meeting in Singapore, one of the world's premier gatherings for trademark and brand professionals. She had the opportunity to meet with our Partners Jeremiah Odinga and network with leading IP practitioners from around the globe.
