ECA embraces making a positive impact on society as a core value of our firm. This year, as part of our giving back tradition, we supported community development initiatives, focusing on education, healthcare access, and empowerment programs for underprivileged communities.
Purpose
To demonstrate our commitment to social responsibility by supporting community development initiatives. The program aimed to provide essential resources to underserved communities, promote education and healthcare access, and create lasting positive change in the lives of those we serve.
What the Team Learnt
Our team learned about the importance of sustainable community engagement, gained insights into the most effective ways to support community development, and discovered how corporate resources can be leveraged for maximum social impact. The experience deepened our understanding of our role as corporate citizens.

Our Managing Partner Neema Magimba and Partner Kenneth Odinga attended the 10th Annual Adams & Adams Africa Network Meeting, marking a decade of successful collaboration across the African IP network.
13th China Trademark Festival
The China Trademark Festival was held in Changsha, China this year. The theme was "One Belt One Road," focusing on international trademark cooperation and the development of IP protection along trade routes connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe.
International Trademark Association (INTA) 2023 Annual Meeting
Our Managing Partner attended the INTA 2023 Annual Meeting in Singapore, one of the world's premier gatherings for trademark and brand professionals. She had the opportunity to meet with our Partners Jeremiah Odinga and network with leading IP practitioners from around the globe.
